Info

Sham Enduro Valley mountain biking trail is one of the most scenic and accessible adventures in Ladakh. Located on the western front of Ladakh, Sham Valley lies at an average elevation of 3,600 meters above sea level. This region, often referred to as the lower valley of Ladakh, is perfect for bikers looking for a moderate yet breathtaking ride through serene landscapes, traditional villages, and mountain passes. If you’re searching for an unforgettable Sham Enduro Valley biking experience, this is your trail.

The journey begins at Phobe-la Pass, where the ride kicks off on a steep, loose trail. Gradually, the terrain transforms into a flowing descent into the valley below. Riders can choose to continue pedaling or opt for a shuttle service, which remains available throughout the journey.

The trail then takes us to Changtse-la Pass, which marks the route to the first village. The biking route winds through local settlements, offering glimpses of Ladakhi culture and traditional homes.

Our final major ascent leads to Tsermangchen-la Pass (3,873 meters), the longest and most rewarding section of the trail. From here, we descend through the picturesque villages of Ang and Thingmosgang, finally reaching the village of Nurla, which marks the end of this epic ride.

Whether you’re an experienced rider or a nature lover, this Sham Valley mountain biking trail offers the perfect blend of adventure and culture.
