The Wari-La Downhill is a thrilling mix of high-altitude road and off-road trails, offering one of the most exciting descents in Ladakh. Wari-La Pass, situated at 5,300 meters above sea level, provides a breathtaking start to this adventure. The ride descends all the way to the village of Kharu, covering an average distance of 30 km from start to finish.

The Wari-La descent is known for its fast, flowy and steep sections, making it an ideal ride for thrill-seekers. The route is divided into three distinct sections, each offering a unique riding experience:

High-Speed Paved Road Descent

The adventure begins with a smooth and steep concrete-paved road leading down from the pass. Riders can enjoy breathtaking views while experiencing the rush of a high-speed descent.

Rocky Off-Road Trail Section

As the ride progresses, bikers leave the main road and take on a steep, rocky descent that transitions into a more flowy dirt trail. This section challenges riders with rugged terrain while maintaining a thrilling pace.

Final Stretch to Kharu via Sakti Village

Approaching the village of Sakti, the ride returns to the main road, offering a more relaxed yet fast-paced finish as bikers cruise down towards Kharu village.
